Jing

Whew! It took me forever to get this thing working!
I will have to play with it a lot, but I already know one way I want to use it.
I am teaching myself Expression Web for a work project. It is hard to say the least since I am clueless when it comes to web design and programs. I have a friend who works with it daily. Unfortunately, he is in Ames, Iowa! But I plan to ask him to download this program and send me video links on how to work with the program.

Have the instructional videos posted by Dr Luck where great too. This is probably the best new program I have been introduced to in class.
Check out my playing one of the games in Lesson 2. With this one I had the mic on mute.

I have decided I will download this program to my work computer as well. There is program our student staff uses to document incidents that occur in the halls. Many of them forget the steps to create the reports. This would be a great way for me to walk them through the steps! I have created a staff website. I will need to figure out how to use Jing to put the video on that site. If that is beyond my skill level, I will simply create another blog and post it on blogger.com.

Most of the technology we have discussed in class so far I have had some experience with or at least with an equivalent. This is completely new and very exciting!! I know I can use it with my work and I can see how this would be great for educators. Combining it with other technology like one of those smart board laptops would be a huge benefit for a math teacher for example.
